He also knows his way around the kitchen – you’ll no doubt have seen him co-hosting the anarchic YouTube series Stupid F*cking Cooking Show and Matty and Benny Eat Out America with Matty Matheson. There’s literally no one more qualified to put together the leftovers sandwich playlist... here’s what he said:
“So you gained 10lbs yesterday... what are you supposed to do today. You’re supposed to get up and put this playlist on. And when this playlist is on I DARE you not to dance. It’s impossible. It’s the best feeling in the world. I put these songs on because you’ve got new love handles on love handles and your ass is gonna jiggle for a week because there was so much mac and cheese that you ate, you’ve gotta put these songs on to just feel good.
You’re rummaging through the fridge and you’ve got all these leftovers - you wanna take two beautiful pieces of thick white, buttermilk or Hawaiian bread - however you want it. You want to toast them and then put all your ingredients into that sandwich.. You wanna smear some cranberry sauce, you wanna put the mac and cheese... you wanna just shove every single thing you can put into the sandwich. And then you want to do it all over again because it’s Christmas or Thanksgiving and you get one more day of doing it.”
